The drawing on the front is the mascot of Y.E.T Korea Cosmetic. Straight off the bat though, I'll have to admit I do not really fancy the packaging of this particular design. They did state that it's supposed to be "funny" though, so the packaging is more fun and colourful.
I chose two nail stickers from Y.E.T Korea by Omoshiroiya to review. Torn between these two patterns initially, but I felt that you girls would love the other design more so I've decided to review this monochrome one. This is the Y.E.T Korea Easy Funny Nail Sticker "Funny Kongkong" (Luminous) design. What helped me make my decision was also the fact that they GLOW IN THE DARK! Whoever heard of that? I'm excited to try it out. It also comes with a nail buffer to trim the stickers according to your nail size.
Let's take a closer look at the designs. It's all monochrome designs! In case you didn't know, basics & monochromes are in-trend lately. Stripes, polka dots & houndstooth make each design interesting, with a touch of vintage. The nail buffer has two sides - pink and blue - and both sides have a rough enough surface to file off the sticker.
How to use?
Find the right size of nail sticker for your nail. I have small fingers, so the best size that fits would be the third largest one on my thumb.
This part is a little tricky. Peel off the nail stickers carefully. I find that the stickers adhere to the plastic film quite tightly, it makes them hard to remove. I had to pick the sides with my nails until I found a 'loophole' and get it off the film.
Place the sticker carefully on your nail and smooth it down.
Using the nail buffer provided, file off the excess sticker to fit your nail. TIP: Use quick, short strokes instead of continuous filing motion to get the best results. The excess will tear off and leave you with smooth edges. The nail buffer is rough like sand paper, yet not too harsh that it will graze your skin.
Done! Not too shabby right? No top coat needed because it already has a shiny surface!
PS: It's a bad idea to cut my nails right before doing nail stickers. It looks so stubby~ :(
The final result. Since the designs are all different sizes, I could not standardize the designs on my nails but I find this works too as it has a more interesting twist. I've tried many nail stickers and I find that these Y.E.T ones are not as soft, it doesn't feel so "filmy" like nail polish. Because it's sturdier, it can be difficult to smooth the nail sticker down properly. Some curved edges might experience the nail sticker 'popping up. However, the design is really fun and the shine on it is quite nice. I've yet to test out how durable and how long do these last, or if they're easy to remove. Will update you guys on that!

Now for the REAL question... DOES IT REALLY GLOW-IN-THE-DARK?
OMG IT DOES!! I wasn't expecting it to as I was quite doubtful about these gimmicks. This is kinda creepy yet uber cool at the same time!
The white part will be the part that 'glows'.
What I love:
- Interesting design, and many more to choose from
- Clear illustrations given on how to use
- Quick, straightforward and easy to use
- NO drying time needed, saves time!
- No top or base coat required, nice shiny finish
- GLOWS IN THE DARK!
What I don't:
- Hard to remove from plastic film
- Feels harder than other nail stickers
- Edges do "pop-up" if not smoothed down properly
For this Y.E.T Korea Easy Nail Sticker "Pretty Girl", it comes in a bright orange packaging and clear front that displays the design fully. Note that this one says "Bling-bling" because of the tiny specks of bling on the sticker. I find it quite funny that both designs come in different packaging even though they are of the same brand, but I guess it is just to portray the different personalities of the stickers as well.
A closer look at the designs. On the website, they look more pastel than the real thing. But these are alright as well. Love the tiny ribbon details - so girly! You can use these to glam up your nails for any red-tie events. Oh yea, this design does not glow in the dark.
