Hey guys! Here's a teeth update, since y'all seemed to enjoy it previously hehe. I'm back at TAG Dental Clinic again, this time to do dental fillings. As you all might recall, TAG Dental Clinic is an emergency dental clinic near me (how I wish they were a 24 hour dental clinic or night dental clinic so I can go anytime). I took the day off and decided to drop by the clinic, can't wait to see what the dentist has to say about my teeth condition 🙊
This time I went with my bf and it was his turn first. He wanted to do teeth scaling and polishing (read my previous post here for the process). Despite not going to the dentist for years, the dental care professional said that his teeth were in great condition and he was so proud of it lol. His feedback after that was that it's painless and his teeth felt super clean! So if you're looking for treatment of dental pain in Johor Bahru or root canal dentist, definitely drop by TAG Dental Clinic cos so far from all the reviews I heard, they are so good that the processes are mostly painless 😂
Then it was my turn. Unfortunately, the dental filling specialist told me that I had 8 dental fillings to be done. I WAS SHOCKED! We decided to do 3 dental fillings on that day first, and make an appointment for the remainder, and also my tooth extraction/ root canal treatment in Johor Bahru which I've been dreading ><
The nurse at Klinik Pergigian Johor Bahru gave me a mirror to see the teeth that need to be filled. They were all pretty small holes but had to be filled so that it won't lead to further problems.
I got to watch the whole dental filling process using the mirror/ phone front camera. First, the dentist used a small drill on the targeted areas to be filled. It doesn't hurt, just a slight pang when the drill hits a nerve, but it's bearable.
Next, she used this dental filling paste to fill in the holes.

Then, a blue light was used to cure the filling. This is the step that helps it to last. Also, after 3 tooth filling, my jaw was really tired at this point lol.
Btw, I'd just like to touch on how this dental polyclinic follows the SOP strictly to put your mind at ease about going to any klinik gigi JB in these pandemic times. They take your temperature at the reception and ensures that everyone sanitises their hands. The dental clinic is one of the best and cleanest I've seen in Johor Bahru IMO, because after my bf's scaling, they made me wait while the nurse disinfected everything - from the seat to the sink and equipment - before I was allowed to do my dental health care treatment. I mean, the previous patient was someone I knew and was with the whole day already, yet they still did not want to take the risk. The dentist also changed her gloves and mask after each patient. They really take the SOP seriously, kudos!
