Beauty: Physiogel® Calming Relief Face Care Range - 14 DAYS CHALLENGE (Part 2)

It's been two weeks and I finally have the results to the current skincare, Physiogel®, that I'm using! If you have dry and sensitive skin like me, you should read this because it's always useful to keep a list of products that actually works for skin like ours, eh? If you need a more detailed introduction into the products used, do check out the first part of this post HERE.

The infamous Physiogel® Hypoallergenic Calming Relief Gentle Cream Cleanser claims to act as a cleanser and gentle makeup remover all in one product. However, since I love cleansers that foam up and leaves a squeaky clean feeling on the skin, I only used this product primarily as a makeup removing cream instead. This cleanser doesn't lather but it does leave a smooth layer on the skin that makes it feel soft, but I'm not a fan so double cleansing it is! For people who are looking for that soft, supple feeling though, this cleanser is perfect for you as it's so gentle and effective.

What I love:
- The soft, smooth feeling that it leaves on the skin
- Effective as a gentle makeup remover (but I'd still recommend double-cleansing)
- Doesn't stimulate sensitive and dry skin

What I don't:
- It doesn't lather
- No squeaky clean feeling, can be slightly oily if not washed off properly

I was given two moisturisers from Physiogel® to try out. The first one is this Physiogel® Hypoallergenic Calming Relief Face Cream. If you're looking for a moisturiser to use as below your foundation, this is a good option as it's not too oily and is lightweight. It really smoothens out the skin and makes a good makeup base that doesn't make your foundation cakey or greasy throughout the day.

What I love:
- Lightweight moisturiser to use during the day
- Great as a makeup base, doesn't cake up
- Not too oily or thick

What I don't:
- Doesn't leave a silky smooth feeling as much as the Face Cream Rich!

The second moisturising cream that I tried was the Physiogel® Hypoallergenic Calming Relief Face Cream Rich. It's has a slightly thicker consistency which can feel heavy on the face, so I only use it at night before I go to bed. What I love is that it feels velvety smooth on the skin! I'm quite surprised as most thick cream moisturisers can feel heavy on the skin, but this one isn't. I wake up every morning feeling how smooth my skin is, so happy :p

What I love:
- The velvety smooth feeling it leaves on my skin
- Keep skin moisturised even in an air-conditioned room
- Good for reducing redness

What I don't:
- Can be quite greasy at times, I'd use this separately from the Face Cream to avoid it feeling to thick or heavy

If you have very dehydrated skin, I would recommend something with higher water content instead of cream-based skincare. BUT, this is a great series for people with dry and extremely sensitive skin where redness occurs easily. I noticed that my skin is less red now especially around the cheeks and nose area. Definitely a comfortable feeling whenever I use these products, now I don't have to worry about my skin peeling after wearing makeup for long hours. The funny thing is, even my boyfriend has also noticed that my skin is much softer and smoother now XD The whole range is also quite affordable, considering that it's all hypoallergenic and dermatologist-approved.
