Fashion: Christmas & NYE Outfit Ideas

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year! One more week to Christmas, and I just can't wait! Last year, I created a series of holiday outfits to share with you guys so I thought I'd do the same this year too. I've curated these outfits using Polyvore and most of the items can be found on Shopbop.com! Feeling extra festive and royale this year, I decided that gold and red would be my colour scheme for the outfits. After all, I'm entering another stage of life; another year older, another year wiser. It's about time our dressing styles go towards a more elegant direction. ;)
Top - Ramy Brook
Booties - Dolce Vita
Bracelets - serefina
Earrings - Adia Kipur

Red is fierce. Leather is fiercer. Put them together and you'll get a badass look that will make you the centre of attraction. It's not a crude look but rather, a clean, edgy one. Satin, leather and gold gives that subtle shine and fierce hue. No necklace is needed for a turtleneck but don't be afraid to pile on the bracelets and grab a pair of statement earrings.

Heels - Steven
Necklace - Deepa Gurnani
Earrings - Kenneth Jay Lane

For the girlier girls, here's a look that will make you feel classy and make the other guests stare. The red patterned dress is very covered, yet sexy at the same time. Every modern lady should own a pair of nude/gold heels and a nude coloured bag because they go with just about anything! Yeap, you heard me. It's almost as versatile as black! Top off the look with classy crystal accessories to make yourself feel like a princess.

Watch - Michael Kors
Ring - Vita Fede

For the ladies who don't particularly fancy wearing skirts and dresses, fret not because pants are just as sexy. Suit pants in particular have the right cut and flair to make you feel taller and more confident. Since you'll be partying, don't be afraid of showing off some gold magic. All the accessories here including the bag and shoes have gold detailing which amps up the classiness of this whole look.

So there you have it. Just some of my outfit inspirations for this holiday! Let me know which is your favourite combination? Like I always say, don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. The year is coming to an end, make it your resolution to upgrade yourselves (and your wardrobe)! I know that's MY dream :p

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance!

Love and kisses,
Carinn
